LA 2009: Volkswagen Up! Lite Concept teases with practical, lightweight innovation {Autoblog}

Dec 2nd 2009 3:47PM I like it... a lot. It's got VW's new "angry eyes" corporate face, and seems to be a blend of Golf, Honda CR-Z and Volvo C30.

GM confims Chevy Camaro Convertible for Oshawa production alongside 2011 Buick Regal {Autoblog}

Nov 27th 2009 11:40AM This is great news for GM Canada and for Oshawa, which has been hit VERY hard by the downturn. Before the old Regal was retired, that plant had a consistently high reputation for best initial quality of the vehicles it produced. Nice to see that they're getting a new Regal to build, and i hope they can keep up their previous reputation.

Lutz: High-performance Chevy Volt SS a "possibility" {Autoblog Green}

Nov 10th 2009 1:14PM Does anyone really believe anything Bob says any more? He's had to backtrack so many times already, it's become painfully obvious that "what Bob wants" vs. "what GM will actually do" are almost never aligned.

Perhaps Apple won't block Atom support after all {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

CRTC sets net neutrality rules for Canada, allows throttling as 'last resort' {Engadget}

Oct 21st 2009 4:24PM What this means for Canadian consumers is that we'll now have capped data plans, with huge overage charges.

The telcos and cablecos aren't going to bother with anything that will actually make consumers happy, like time-of-day discounts or anything like that. They'll hit heavy users hard because they can make money, and the CRTC ruling essentially gives them permission to charge whatever they want for heavy bandwidth users.

Tokyo 2009: Honda SkyDeck, is this the future of the Odyssey? {Autoblog}

Oct 21st 2009 10:53AM If that's the new Honda corporate face, i look forward to seeing more of it. It's nice to see them infusing their lineup with a more consistent visual language. They've been all over the place as of late.
