Feb 26th 2008 9:25AM The "monstrosity" to the right looks like an IBM Thinkpad 760 circa 1997... Definitely not any thinkpad made in the last 4 years since they all have optical drives on the right side, not coming out the front...

Jan 30th 2008 4:33PM Now there's a thought... why doesn't Staples sell USB easy buttons? you could program it to do actually do something when you press it. Why hasn't brando hopped on this bandwagon yet?

Xbox 360 HD DVD player stoops to $129 {Engadget}
Dec 6th 2007 3:16PM Yesterday- i printed the the toys r us ad from the website and went to best buy at lunch to pick up the hd dvd player to add to my media center pc. I noticed the price match policy on the wall and decided to hold the printer out page in my pocket... best buy will match the price if you show them the ad when you buy, but they will match 110% if you show the ad after you buy! so i paid my 179, and then after work i went back in with the ad and the receipt and they gave me a ~$60 refund on a $50 difference (with taxes and all). that's a really weird policy...

Nov 19th 2007 10:42AM Can you really count the Die Hard Collection and all the individual movies as seperate entries? Its not a different movie, it's just a different way to buy a bunch of movies that are already released... just like the matrix trilogy or those "best of..." boxed sets...

Nov 13th 2007 9:52AM I remember seeing a segment on Beyond Tomorrow on the science channel of a guy who was using this kind of device... he lost one of his arms and doctors moved the muscles/nerves around to a spot on his chest and it made his prosthetic arm move... they showed what it looked like without the prosthetic and it was creepy... like an old guy flexing his pecks... but he had much more use of his arm and hopefully this can help many more people
