Video: BlackBerry support coming to REDFLY Mobile Companion, adds only marginal appeal {Engadget}
Sep 17th 2009 3:02AM Redfly has been around for a while (hint, perhaps some people want this product irrespective of the narrow minded people at Engadget) . I have one and it works for me on long business trips where I prefer not to hunt for a power source for my laptop. Redfly s/w also available for running on Windows netbook.
Sony Ericsson's £530 Pureness is 'iconic' not ironic {Engadget}
Sep 15th 2009 11:43AM A story about SE but Engadget had to include the iPhone! Please remember Engadget, the iPhone is not exclusive and much more expensive!
Nokia X6 video hands-on: proof that capacitive touchscreens are better {Engadget}
Sep 5th 2009 12:21PM What you need to buy new gloves just to use your $xxx SMARTPHONE! Doesn't sound too "smart" to me ;-)
Nokia X6 video hands-on: proof that capacitive touchscreens are better {Engadget}
Sep 5th 2009 10:51AM Typical Engadget narrow minded thinking. What about all those people who like to use a stylus for small details, the back of a finger nail and finally use a device with a gloves on! And if S60 is so rubbish whay after year after year S60 devices outsell all other Smartphones added together? You would have thought that after 6 years of Smartphone selling market forces would have led to Nokia's demise! But why bother with facts when FUD is much more fun!
How would you change Apple's iPhone 3GS? {Engadget}
Aug 1st 2009 5:03AM Ability to use a standard micro USB charger (so you can use any USB power source without the need for a laptop/PC) as the battery seems to be very poor.

Jun 5th 2009 11:26AM Hang-on, the iPhone was £599 (yes UK pounds) on eBay last year so what's Engadgets problem with the Pre price?
Nokia's flagship N97 gets its own website, pre-order link ($699) {Engadget}

Cincinnati Bell lands Nokia's XpressMusic 5800: $149.99 {Engadget}
May 3rd 2009 6:59PM People like to compare to the iPhone, but remember Nokia is more about function then form, so the 5800 can do the following that the iPhone (current version) can't:
- real turn-by-turn sat nav
- A2DP
- MMS
- video recording (at a blood good quality as well)
- cut'n'paste
- BT HID profile for BT keyboard
- FM radio built-in
- etc
