MobileMe mail offline for 'some users'... again {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Nov 10th 2009 3:23PM For $65 (eBay) Mobile Me is still worth it. It's the 'Find my iPhone' and keychain synching that I can't do without. Everything else has a free alternative out there but this is all under one roof which I like. I am over having accounts in 15 places to do the same thing just so I can save $6 a month?
Speaking of keychain and Mobile Me, cool story; I had visited a friend a year ago and used their WiFi. Since then he moved, I got a new laptop. I go to his new house last week and the laptop instantly joined his network. Mobile Me had stored the WPA key and everything and then pushed that down to my new laptop. "It just works" indeed. Can't get that somewhere else.
