Aiptek PocketCinema V10 hands-on {Engadget}
Jan 14th 2009 10:49AM 640x480 is a factor for sure! It looks good but it does look like 640x480. Aiptek says the 10 lumens brightness is something they're working on for the next model. I'm not sure if they're looking to up the resolution or not.

It's a fun little projector but almost impossible to use unless the room is SUPER dark. It projects beyond 50" with easy. I spent a good hour playing some Wii on it. It has a built-in battery that runs a good 2 or 3 hours. I've used it reliably for a few hours without any issues. It got hot but didn't seem to effect performance.

Microsoft adds speech recognition to Live Search {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 6th 2007 7:14AM Yeah guys, this version has been out for weeks. It does work really well! The speech recognition is pretty good and the gas prices tool is great! I just wish it would use my cell phone service to triangulate me!
Treo 500v sports a revamped Windows Mobile interface {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 16th 2007 12:50PM This new interface may not be Palm's doing, it may be the new Windows mobile interface that Vodofone is building all of it's WM phones with. I thought I saw another WM phone from Vodofone that used the same interface but I can't seem to find that info. I think it would be great if we (US customers) got the new interface but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't. Any confirmation from Palm if this interface is theirs?
