GameStop lists standalone Xbox 360 250GB hard drive [update] {Joystiq}

Mar 2nd 2010 7:01PM I'll bite. I need a new drive, if this is indeed the price. The question is will it come with the cable and software needed to transfer from one drive to another ...

Sprint says webOS 1.3.5 is hitting the Pre today {Engadget}

Dec 28th 2009 10:12AM Define "Better Phone". I got mine the day it was released, and have had 0 problems with it. I prefer the vertical slider to the horizontal slider. It fits very well in my hand, and despite my size (I'm a pretty big guy), I don't have an issue with the keyboard. "Better" is relative design-wise, but I do know someone who's on their 5th Pre. Hopefully they've worked out the quality issues, but I can't think of a phone I've loved more.

On that note, the only thing I could think with the "Pre 2" (or Pre Pro or whatever they're going to call it) is to make the screen larger and increase the memory to 16 instead or 8.

Palm loses $85.4 million in latest reported quarter -- hey, it's an improvement {Engadget}

Dec 17th 2009 10:52PM The first problem, as said, was launching just on Sprint. If they did both Sprint and Verizon before the Android devices took off, we'd be looking at a winner. I'm not sure why they're going with the Pixi and not the Pre on Verizon. Maybe Verizon told them "you had your chance, now we're sticking with Google" and don't want to take away from the Droids market share. Putting the Droid against the Pre interface and design wise, I think most average users would take the Pre. It's just "friendlier". The Droid appeals to the geek in us, but there isn't anything smooth or friendly about it. I really hope Palm can keep it together. I really like what they've done with the Pre (I'm still on my first one), but with HTC behind Google ... this may not end well.

Palm Pixi one step closer to free, now $25 on Amazon {Engadget}

Nov 18th 2009 2:01PM As said before, the device is expendable. It'll probably be free within 6 months. The money is in the 2 year contract. Palm can work on it being slow; it seems like every iteration of WebOS my Pre gets a little faster. Palm needs to get as many WebOS devices in as many hands as possible, and Sprint needs to up their head count. So make a decent entry-level smart phone with a keyboard and hope that people come to it. As a Centro replacement, this is a great device. EVERYONE doesn't need Wi Fi. If it weren't for the plan requirement, I'd get this for my 15 yr old for XMas. He has a Centro and loves it.

GTA IV's The Ballad of Gay Tony sings on Oct. 29 {Joystiq}

Sep 1st 2009 8:59PM So do you have to have GTA4 in order to get this? I have GTA4, but on the PS3. It would be cool if I could get the disk version and not have to worry about getting GTA4 AGAIN.
