New Cradlepoint firmware turns MiFi into -- wait for it -- a 3G WiFi router {Engadget}
Jul 10th 2009 3:05PM there are more useful reasons to have a MiFi plugged into for instance the MBR1000 router.
-- you can then connect DVRs and computers that do not have WiFi, via ethernet.
-- you can have more than five wireless clients
-- you can use wifi at distances futher than the MiFi's measly 30ft range.

Kyocera will soon be announcing firmware RK1010 that provides full support for the U720/USB720 as well as the PX500/PC5750.
