That would require an extra layer of host>extender setup and would only serve to complicate things and debug issues when they come up. Also nevermind the fact that the host would have to be on whenever an extender has a request.
The best setup is something like HDHomerun where the network tuners are independently shared and accessed by separate PCs.

False. In that case, your wifi network is limited to 8 simultaneous clients at a time? It's more a bluetooth limitation.

Lol that would literally require a big piece of aluminum sticking out the screen. TV frequencies are so low in mhz that the lower the mhz the bigger the antenna needed. That's why cell phone and wifi antennas are so tiny because they work in very high frequencies.

My question exactly. Looks like it has 4 ports instead of 2 and 4x4 antenna instead of whatever is in the 111. But still the same 300mbps, probably just better coverage.

you do realize that ESPN is owned by ABC right? I'm sure they will coordinate airing time with abc to maximize viewership on the prime events and sister networks like ESPN2 for curling. Just like what NBC is doing utilizing MSNBC, CNBC, USA for the non popular events.
