Midway Newcastle reveals new IP: Necessary Force {Joystiq}

Jun 17th 2009 12:55PM Loved the art-style associated with the game. Kind of reminded me of Crackdown but a bit softer and with more detail.

As for the actual game? I honestly can't say. It looks promising, but I also love open world games. Who knows? It could be a gem or it could flounder, as I have seen other open world games do before.

I do wish all the best of luck to Midway Newcastle in their hopes to get a publisher and save some jobs, but, at this point, I think wishes of luck is all they'll get.

Best wishes guys.

'New THQ' avoiding unacceptable waste, believes it 'can only succeed with great games' {Joystiq}

Jun 16th 2009 11:46AM Well it seems like they just released two well received games:

UFC
Red Faction Guerrilla

Seems like they are on the right path. Maybe there's hope for the company after all!

Metareview: 'Red Faction: Guerrilla' avoids being 'birdf*cked!' {Joystiq}

Jun 10th 2009 5:52PM I'm enjoying this game a lot actually. Like many reviewers point out the story is absolutely not the strong point, however, for those looking for a bit of destruction laced with explosives I don't think you are going to find a better game this year.

Everytime I start up my game I always immediately look for the closest, biggest building and then I systematically destroy it from inside out. Absolutely the best stress reliever.

Poll: iPhone 3GS or the Pre? {Engadget}

Jun 8th 2009 5:22PM Neither.

I will be picking up the Samsung i7500 (Galaxy) as soon as it's released on T-Mobile. I love Android and the openness of the platform. Cupcake has since made the OS more viable to more consumers and Donut will follow that with even better upgrades.

Personally, I don't really need a huge hard drive. I have a dedicated PMP for my music and I have no desire to watch movies or tv shows on my phone...

iPhone 3G S announced: $199 16GB, $299 32GB, June 19 {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 8th 2009 3:56PM Hmmm not an iPhone owner but this update seems fairly modest especially in the midst of heavy competition from WinMo, android, palm, and Blackberry. I was expecting something with a bit mroe oomph...

No matter, I'm just waiting for the Samsung i7500 to get released and then I'll ditch my G1 for that.

T-Mobile teasing "bright lights" for June 28 {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 4th 2009 6:36PM Hmmm well the Samsung i7500 is being terms the Galaxy in other parts of the world.

A galaxy has many stars.

Stars emit light.

Light is bright.

Therefor it is my conclusion that this event has to do with the Samsung i7500.

Laugh at my thought process now... we'll see who wins!

United Front has 'big plans' for ModNation {Joystiq}

Jun 4th 2009 11:24AM Well JoyRide is going to be free and ModNation is going to cost $60...

Obviously ModNation looks and probably plays MUCH better, but again... it costs money.

I'll be playing both for what its worth.

United Front has 'big plans' for ModNation {Joystiq}

Jun 4th 2009 11:22AM I agree. It was the only part of their press conference that really had me excited at all. I hope the game is awesome when it gets released.

That said, however, it sounds like the developers and Sony are already looking at ways to bleed the name ModNation until it becomes a hollow shell of it's future former self. Awesome...

Best Buy steals exclusive rights to sell CrimeCraft, THQ distributing {Joystiq}

May 29th 2009 12:07PM All I gotta say is, if your really wanting a crime-based MMO why not just wait for APB?

Verizon Wireless to carry Palm Pre, Storm 2 "in about six months" {Engadget Mobile}

May 28th 2009 3:09PM Hmmm coming from somebody who is an avid Android user and has no interest in either Verizon, the Pre, or Sprint I can say that the comment was dubious at best. TO be honest I just don't understand why he'd say "devices LIKE Palm Pre" as opposed to "we're gonna have the Palm Pre in 6 months."

If anything I'd say that this means Verizon is planning on getting a differently labeled WebOS phone in 6 months... maybe the Eos?
