AT&T 'hits' back at Verizon's Map for That campaign with an 'ad' of its own {Engadget}

Nov 18th 2009 8:51PM At least make factual statements. ETF starts at $175 and goes down each month you have it.

27-inch iMacs having performance issues? {Engadget}

Oct 30th 2009 2:52AM Watching that video makes me think that perhaps it's a driver/vid card issue. Flash runs just fine in Leopard for me on an Nvidia card.

27-inch iMacs having performance issues? {Engadget}

Oct 30th 2009 2:50AM This is pretty hilarious. A new product has an issue and people dogpile on it because it's Apple. All I know is that Snow Leopard is running amazingly on my MBP and shows no signs of sludging up, unlike the Windows box I switched from.
Yeah, Windows 7 is slick and I Bootcamp/VMWare to it when needed, but I'm so much more productive and less likely to want to smash my machine open when running OSX.
Computers will always have problems, even ones made by Apple. Good thing Apple has the best customer support in the business.

Rhapsody App approved by Apple: 8 million tracks streaming to the ether (update: video!) {Engadget}

Sep 10th 2009 3:06PM Oh crescent... haha.
Rhapsody isn't Apple. It's actually an iTunes competitor... and a crappy one at that. I tried it a few years back and was appalled.
Good luck canceling your subscription, too. You have to call in. I got some Indian guy spending a good 30 minutes trying to talk me out of it in pseudo-English. "Sir, ah yew ah moozeek lohver?" Priceless.

iPhone 3.0's 'broken' push messaging caused by unlockers, dirty keys {Engadget}

Jul 29th 2009 6:45PM "Apple doesn't understand that in the real world, people dont always do exactly what you say, and you have to plan for that."
Why? This is only making it inconvenient for people who jailbreak their iPhones... Apple doesn't want people doing this, so if jailbreakers' service is messed up, why should Apple care?

Cigarette lighter phone could light up your death sticks, life {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 17th 2009 12:18PM Haha, I hope that was sarcasm.
Almost all my college-age friends smoke.
