Report: iPod, iPhone to take over growing handheld gaming {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 23rd 2009 6:29PM iPod/iPhone will be a huge part of the market for gaming, but after you take away Apple's 30% how much profitiablity will there be for game makers? Already the PSP offers the ability to download games directly, which will eventually make it the equiivelant of the iPod Touch for gaming.

The iPod/iPhone will be akin to the Wii that it makes many more people gamers than would traditionally be in that market.

Amazon clarifies Kindle book-deletion policy, can still delete books {Engadget}

Oct 1st 2009 2:55PM Agreed that the concept of ownership needs to change, but why do people assume the paradigm of ownership doesn't change given the way that media/content is distributed and available has changed. For the argument "a judge couldn't tell a bookstore to go into your house and take a book back" as has been described earlier, a judge can order the police to impound stolen materials even if the buyer was unaware the merchandise was stolen. Further, in that scenario there would likely be no compensation to such a buyer.

Clarification on the iPhone Spotlight email issue {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Aug 19th 2009 2:05AM Its not a big issue, given that its confined to e-mail. I think the bigger problem is that the iPhone was not designed with security in its DNA, its an afterthought. I think its fair to say as a heavily marketed consumer device, there's no issue. When people want to keep propping up the iPhone as an enterprise device (meaning big pockets and big liability) then you really start having to face the reality that the iPhone is not ready for primetime today.

AT&T responds on Google questions, throws Apple under the bus {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Aug 3rd 2009 1:08PM Firstly Sling is allowed, only on Wi-Fi.
Secondly, Apple seems to be the company in danger not AT&T with a google voice app

Jul 30th 2009 6:09PM Couple of thoughts
1) He lost his notes
2) The natural reaction is to sue?

How about that sucks and you move on. You're going to find that life is not going to be fair and learn how to deal with it.
