Engadget Podcast 171 - 11.13.2009 {Engadget}

Nov 13th 2009 11:27PM Badger, it's Friday the 13th today, hence the Jasons on the articles.

And btw, I like how the pics are sans-Jason at first read but are modified to Jason later on throughout the day. Love FT13 on Engadget...

GSM Palm Pre bound for Mexico, coming to Telcel on November 27th {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 5:36PM That's what I was looking at. Bell and Telus finally have HSPA up and running and I need a GSM phone in the near future as I'm taking off to Europe. Wouldn't mind travelling with one of these...

Verizon takes another swing at AT&T, puts iPhone on the Island of Misfit Toys {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 8th 2009 3:20PM Ya, that's why those 'Where's the Beef' ads never worked out...

xpPhone teased with specs and pictures, makes Windows XP young again {Engadget}

Oct 31st 2009 6:57PM Totally agree. It looks like there is a lot of open real estate that could have made the screen perfect. I like this as a first draft, but I'd really like to see what the next incarnation of this is. Would buy it in a second...

How-to: recycle your old gadgets {Engadget}

Oct 27th 2009 3:16PM Ya, I do the same thing. Because I'm in Canada, I always get trapped in a 3 year contract. But what I do is keep my new phone for as long as it takes to see a better one come out, buy the new one at full price (usually $500), and sell my old one on Ebay for about $400. As long as you upgrade relatively often (once or twice a year), your current phone is still in pretty good shape and still in demand, so you get a good price from the 'Bay.

Oct 25th 2009 8:24PM Insky,

I appreciate your concern for this guys' lost music, but I suspect that you're the last person on earth that still pays for it...

Insignia's Little Buddy Child Tracker encourages kids to run away, disown parents {Engadget}

Oct 23rd 2009 10:33PM I would've just tied it to the cat's collar and head off on my journies. No way I'd let the old folks track me when I was a lad...

Bell drops Pre by $50, now down to $149.95 {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 23rd 2009 6:03PM I can't wait for Bell to get the new network going. I'm heading off to Europe next year (for a year) and I'd love to have a 'world phone' that I sync'd with my computer before I head out there. I love my Touch Pro, but as CDMA, it's useless to me out there...

RIM's BlackBerry watch pictured, possibly called 'inPulse?' {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 19th 2009 8:36PM Strictly designed for those who hate getting laid...

RIM's BlackBerry watch pictured, possibly called 'inPulse?' {Engadget}

Oct 19th 2009 4:30PM I have the Omega Seamaster Chronograph (like the one in all the Pierce - Present Bond movies except with an additional stopwatch feature). I get laid but I don't credit my watch. What does a Breitling pull in for you?
