Jul 23rd 2009 6:37PM I’ve heard that u can’t add any apps in addition to the ones pre-installed, but are we able to download other programs from different websites and install it? I found http://www.Motorola-Evoke.com but don't see any free third party apps there.

LG Tritan brings QWERTY, touch, and trademarkable misspellings to Alltel {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 4th 2009 8:23PM Hi all, I got a chance to see a demo LG Tritan and it’s a really cool phone. I heard from a U.S. Cellular rep. that it should be in the store sometime this week. I have the Samsung Delve and I can’t wait to return it so I can get the LG Tritan. I was told it has Yahoo Messaging and IM Messaging.
someone create a site for the LG Tritan, http://www.LG-Tritan.com check it out when you have time.
Verizon BlackBerry Tour unboxing {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 1st 2009 12:59PM I am currently using a Samsung SCH-i760 which I like alot and I am due for an upgrade July 24th. Trying to decide if I should join the Blackberry world or wait for the Omnia II to come out(no release date yet). My husband and I do run an internet business and use outlook for emails, but have never owned a Blackberry. I text alot and also send alot of pics to family currently. My Samsung takes horrible pics! So do we jump on the tour when it comes out or wait for the Omnia to compare?

HTC Hero running Android and Sense UI leaks from HTC's own website (updated, official, video) {Engadget}
Jun 27th 2009 12:45PM I'm not going to compare it to the iPhone because they are very different animals, all I have to say is that Android's community support is phenomenal, it's the reason I got the G1 and so far I'm stoked with the way things are going.
The phone/OS hasn't been out for a year and look where we are at already; almost every user/community request has been answered or is being worked on; either officially or by the community itself, the point is that it's a huge open source success.
happy to see a phone like the HTC Hero coming to the U.S. Market, already found forum for it at http://www.HTC-Hero.com let's get some discussions going guys.
BlackBerry Tour hands-on, wild sibling confrontation with Curve and Bold {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 25th 2009 5:46PM I'm kinda liking the optical trackball idea of the Curve 8520. If it works the way I imagine it would it will completely eliminate the problem of sticky trackballs. Oh well, I'm sure the 9630 will be an awesome phone. It definitely looks sleek. And lack of 3G in the Curve is a real downer as well (and the whole T-mobile thing). When July comes around and (if) this phone drops it might be really tough to hang on to my Storm.

looks like the website n97geeks.com can't stand the stress test from all the traffic coming from engadgetmobile LOL.
http://www.NokiaN97Forum.com is a better discussion place if you are looking to talk about the N97
Verizon's CEO sidesteps questions on iPhone, Android handset {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 24th 2009 9:23AM How about get some Real Phones for your customers? MR verizon CEO..
AT&T = iPhone
T-Mobile = myTouch 3G
Sprint = Palm Pre
Verizon = ? Blackberry storm. I have that, and it's a piece of crap, after the upgrade, still a piece of crap.
2- year contract renew.. oh you can get a $100 off the LG Env Touch (Crap) or the LG Versa (Crap) These are all kids phones.
Who knows nothing much than texting all day.
How about a real phone that can get an apps. No, because we have the best network.
How many time have we hear that excuse? yes network do matter, but there's a point the Phone weights more than the network.
I am locked with verizon because of $600 early termination fee (4 lines) not because of their network. Get the facts straight.
And why do you have to charge $350 for the HTC Touch Pro when Sprint ($199) AT&T ($199)??
I don't think these type of business strategies will last forever, watch out verizon.
