Walmart offering $100 gift card with any BlackBerry purchase (but only next week) {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 11th 2009 4:03PM Says who? That's what everyone was saying about the Xbox until they were all wrong and we got regular gift cards in-store.

Physicist wants to test Hyperdrive Propulsion in Large Hadron Collider {Engadget}

Oct 11th 2009 12:27AM ...Bonnie Tyler? Total Eclipse of the Large Hadron Collider? What??

Ace Attorney Investigation: Miles Edgeworth coming stateside February 16 {Joystiq}

Jul 23rd 2009 12:59PM For every game except #4, the English translation was on the Japanese version, and had maybe a week of touchups for the US market. The third game kept most of the typos if I recall? I'm just saying, if they need a year to translate text in a videogame, they need some better translators.

Ace Attorney Investigation: Miles Edgeworth coming stateside February 16 {Joystiq}

Jul 23rd 2009 12:49PM No WAY it takes a year to translate the damn game.

Microsoft exec says Apple asked them stop airing Laptop Hunters ads {Engadget}

Jul 15th 2009 9:58PM I'm not trying to really get into it, I'm just saying that there IS an experience with OS X, that's why people buy Macs that clearly cost more. When it has an issue, you can bring it into an Apple store for warranty assistance. I'm not trying to get into an OS X/Windows debate, but to the average Joe, the Microsoft commercial makes it look like you're just paying $100's extra for the style and pizazz of the Mac. Not fair.

My friend wanted a Mac for college. Her school/parents made her get an HP laptop. The thing apparently doesn't even have a DVD codec installed. Great user experience there. The Microsoft commercial is propaganda, a lot of the Mac commercial stuff is true.

Microsoft exec says Apple asked them stop airing Laptop Hunters ads {Engadget}

Jul 15th 2009 9:35PM Look not to sound like a fanboy, and not to support this supposed whiney Apple call, but people buying a Mac are getting it for the experience that they perceive to be greater. Most of them will tell you it is worth the extra money. You don't have to agree. To the average Joe, this commercial DOES make the PC seem like a much better deal, and any PC lover will tell you it is. But it really isn't fair, because you're paying for the experience with the Mac. Go ahead and buy your laptop at Best Buy, but when it breaks, you're either paying Geek Squad or shipping that bugger off to Texas. :-\

T-Mobile myTouch 3G gets unboxed, user guide outed {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 24th 2009 1:06AM I played with one of these today at the T-Mobile store. I was checking out the G1 when the guy was like "Wanna check out the new Google phone, the mytouch?" Seemed nice, I wasn't too fond of Android though.

Yu Suzuki assumes even smaller role at Sega {Joystiq}

Apr 5th 2009 3:02PM This article is incorrect. Suzuki retired FROM AM+ and is still going to do R&D for the Amusements department. Secondly, PSY-PHI isn't japanese only, it was never released. It was Suzuki's game. The guy can't catch a break. The combined ignorance of Joystiq and Gamestop towards a SEGA legend like Suzuki is mindboggling.

OutRun Online Arcade rated by OFLC {Joystiq}

Nov 18th 2008 5:45PM This article fails to mention that the game is to be made by THQ. Epic fail.
