Why do you guys keep reporting on the Treo Pro as if it's $549 everywhere with-new-contract? I know you guys only use GSM (unless some of you own a Pre now), but the Treo Pro has available on contract for $199 from Sprint and Alltel a very long time, frequently discounted to $149 or $99 on promotions.
In contrast, when you report on other phones (ones that you like better) such as the Pre or the iPhone, you always only stick with the with-new-contract prices. Why?
Your title should read 'Unlocked Palm Treo Pro'. Be more honest in your reporting, guys.

For the 10th time, no, they did not. You keep pushing this falsehood instead of correcting your old article; a buttload of commenters have repeatedly pointed out to you that your original source was misinformed. Please stop pushing around false information, guys.
Sprint got an additional 20,000 towers just from the Nextel deal alone -- a relatively sparse network. Sprint only sold 3,000 towers to TowerCo. Do the math.

Mar 9th 2009 10:47PM Yeah there was a story on here or Giz about a guy receiving an iPod from Apple with this barebone GUI installed on it. It showed a Bluetooth icon which got everyone into a tizzy for a week until someone stripped it down and found that there was no Bluetooth chip inside.
