Acer neoTouch S200 reviewed, not recommended {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 20th 2009 2:51PM Well I'm not going to champion Acer, never owned one or known anyone who did.
But, It is interesting to see Acer go from virtually no market presence in the US a few years ago to one of the top three computer manufacturers.

Smartphones are more demanding though, especially on the software side, to be competitive though, so it will be interesting to see if Acer can adapt.

I'm surprised Hp and Dell aren't pursuing the smartphone market more.

Oct 13th 2009 1:05AM I only bother to read other's comments after I post my own. I see the other Thinkpad fanboyz beat me to it. They didn't include the video though, so pretty half assed. See you at the convention guys.

BUGbase WiFi finally overcomes, ships in the US and Europe {Engadget}

Sep 24th 2009 2:11AM This is the most poorly written article I've read on Engadget. Should the reader really have to visit the company webpage to figure out what the hell this thing is? Darren Murph is to writing as AOL is to Internet Service Providers.

BlackBerry Essex to bring WiFi on Tour? {Engadget}

Aug 31st 2009 6:42PM @J, you state "Exchange integration, which is what the vast majority of Blackberry users out there DO care about". I disagree, half of blackberry sales are to consumers (see link below), and I'd wager that the vast majority of these consumers are not using Exchange. Further more, some small businesses can't afford the costs associated with Exchange and for them Google apps is a great alternative. Proper gmail IMAP support would be a real value to these businesses.
