Caption contest: Ellen DeGeneres and her ʞoou giveaway {Engadget}

why the hell would we be embarrassed?
We're not snotty. These are just people having fun while winning prizes
It's great. It's happy. It's fine

Ellen's show is just an innocent talk show where she interviews people and makes G rated jokes about hairstyles and other pop culture BS. Nothing wrong with it at all. If you don't like it (I don't, really) just change the channel. That's it

Verizon commits to 'newer' Android for Droid Eris with Google Maps Navigation in Q1 2010 {Engadget}

Does anyone have any idea about the Dragon/Passion
Verizon, we're thinking?
Specs? Same as HD2 with Android + Sense?
DATES?

Ehhhhh it's tempting. That processor and screen size just doesn't do it for me. If I'm going to take the step to Sense UI and HTC, I'm going to have to wait for the Dragon. Snapdragon and 4.3" will make it the multimedia emailing/web beat I'm looking for. I mean, you can't beat that kind of real estate in a phone around the same thinkness as the Droid Eris. Also, High Res is something that I just can't overlook. So much easier on the eyes. But yeah it's def a good phone, I loved it in the store, works like a charm.

I'm not sure that's true though about the Pre..
Could be but for some reason I remember my friend saying he had to pay extra for VZ Navigator on his Blackberry Curve with Data Plan which I'm assuming would be the same for the Pre

That's what I thought the magic of Google Nav. Verizon doesn't charge for it because it's a Native Integrated Program with no subscription.

Amen

Honestly this thing is an experimentation in how many bad UI's and and OS's you can combine. The Behold 2 proved how Touch Wiz messed up Android. But that over WIndows Mobile? It's a disaster and a half. I feel bad for all the people waiting for this phone thinking it's gonna be good. The HD2 is the only way to buy Windows Mobile as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the Touch Pro 2 as well....

Touch Wiz should stay where it belongs! Dumbphones

Nokia asks own blog readers what their favorite part of the X6 is, gets funny answer {Engadget}

I, for one, thought it was funny that 8% of people said "NOTHING"
What a bunch of wise-ass Nokia customers
badass

engadget's idea of funny on this one? ehhh go get some more punch and tell the joke to the quiet guy in the corner. He might find it funny
