Editorial: Hey, AT&T -- drop lawsuits, not calls {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 13th 2009 10:31PM Would any one argue with me if I said that, AT&T always drops calls if during the call the phone switches from 3g to Edge [this is in low coverage area] and it annoys me. I have tried several phone nokias, berry, apple iPhone 3gs, this never changed. It was consistent.

T-Mobile 7.2Mbps HSPA rolling out now? {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 5th 2009 1:46AM AT&T and Verizon Wireless its time for you to wake up and fix up your speeds.
I agree you have the iPhone/Droid and what not in your line up, but if you ain't got the network to handle the data being used by these devices, you aint got nothing. This is true, if you test your iPhone for instance in downtown where all the corporate employees are sneaking from their cubicals and under the desk facebook/twitter w.e news. The speeds there are like 400-500 if you go out in the country and hopefully you have 3g in AT&T, you get a whoping 1.2mbps. With verizon its even worse cuz their speeds are tops at 756ish.

Nokia N900 video shows off 3D gaming, YouTube shenanigans, and more {Engadget}
Oct 10th 2009 4:09AM Hehe I really like the Convo. here. I am at work and have read all the comments.
I personally like cell phones in general and I do live in America. Should I say I really hope this beast lands on T-Mo since there are rumors they are upgrading their 3g to 21mbps just the way they did it in Phili. It be awesomness redeifined.
Now @Truth this does have GPS and it has Maemo Linux which will have a lot of free goodies too it unlike the if@ckinPhone.
I mean I also have an iPhone, but admit it iPhone is the new Razr everyone has one. Whats the fun in having a common phone that everyone has?
Verizon: LTE rollout to be 'as close to all-at-once as possible' {Engadget}
Sep 26th 2009 5:07AM First off, Verizon FIOS from what I had understood. Individually one customer can get up-to 622mbps. This was told to me by a dude who helped in designing the Network[Thats what he told me, he was a consultant for them]. But, it sounded to me like an over exaggeration.
Now to the real talks. LTE would be awesomeness redefined. I would change from AT&T to verizon in a heart beat. I love their service and all its flawless. But, I like the independence of changing phones when I want without dialing 611, thus I am with AT&T for now. On the other hand I also have a thing for Nokia Phones. I won't have the same choice that I have on GPRS, if I were on CDMA.
Now as far as Verizon forcing MFGs to add their sh!t on the firmware/OS, I would have to agree with that only on the low end phones, but who doesn't do that? WiFi its not like verizon doesn't want their customers to have WiFi their winmo phones have wifi such as HTC phones, but RIM for some reason make any devices that have CDMA and WiFi this was pointed about by BGR or Engadget not sure.
And that does sound about right. Since, no other CDMA carrier has blackberries with WiFi up-to my knowledge, could be wrong.
But, I am anxious about LTE and I could careless if I get to use the iPhone or not. I am using it right now, but as advanced the phone is I just got MMS on it today now that is a lil bit ole.
New Nokia Messaging beta adds IM capabilities, E75 gets first dibs {Engadget Mobile}

Nokia N97 review: a tale of two bloggers {Engadget}
Jun 22nd 2009 11:52PM Thomas does not know how to use the widgets. When he is trying to show his frustrations about the facebook widget he is still in the edit content mode. He needs to click done. And than he can use the sign in button. And, needless to say before anyone of you iPhone lovers compare it with this. its the same as when you click and hold one of the icons so that they start dancing and than you can arrange/delete w/e you want. But, if you try to launch it it wont launch it since it is in the edit mode. Same was the situation with our pal Thomas during his video. Shall I say he does not know how to learn a new function. So, when the icons are dancing in the Apple stupid iphone the only option is to delete it same things happens with n97 the only option is to remove. I hope this helps Thomas.
Nokia N97 review: a tale of two bloggers {Engadget}
Jun 22nd 2009 4:19PM Good review. I think it is an honest review. I have only read the hardware part of it and will be reading the rest when I get paid at work.
But, engadget is not biased towards nokia. Cut the crap guys, BGR is biased towards the stupid iPhone.
