Verizon grabs HTC Touch Pro2, prices it right at $200 on contract {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 11th 2009 3:52PM Humm customer loyalty is your issue? Im rewarded for being a loyal customer to upgrade my phone every 12months @ the two year pricing (compare to the "new every two slogan"), plus no upgrade fee associated. If that doesnt say "hey mister customer, thank you for your business" I dont know what does. Hell I called at&t and had to threaten to cancel my 3 personal lines that I'm paying upto 200.00 a month for just to get a credit for something that they unrightfully charged me for. Customer service, if you read Sprint has had the highest improvement in customer service in the past two years then any other carrier.
@Zee: I see you have to pay people to be nice to you. I think it should be included for free. Eventually, Sprint will gain back its market share because of their service plans, and plethora of hot ass new phones coming out all because they dont restrict themselves to a "savior phone".

Sep 11th 2009 12:41PM I live in the west suburbs of Chicago, and never have a problem with my TP1 on Sprint. I have at&t as my personal line and alway drop calls on the expressway, and at my old house. I could never get signal. But my Sprint has always work and worked well. When I travel I never have problems at all. Could be equipment problems that cause bad reception, case in point the Samsung Instinct s30, and if thats the case thats not Sprints' fault but the OEM. Ill pay my 70.00 for 450 minutes with nights @7pm, unlimited text, pix and data (best 3g network) coupled with unlimited calling to every one of the 250 million cellular users nationwide and still get my corporate discount on top of that.
@mayoko185: Its not the fact of being cheap (use spell check next time) its the fact that we actually have a carrier that is willing to go against the norm and actually give us something without butt fucking us.

AT&T / Cingular class action gets go ahead from federal court {Engadget Mobile}
May 28th 2009 3:43PM I wish ppl would get this time line correct. SBC/Bell South bought AT&T Wireless from Ma Bell (old AT&T) for their subsiduary CIngular Wireless. Then SBC alone bought Ma Bell (old AT&T), and changed its name to AT&T. So, AT&T/Bell South owned Cingular Wireless. Then AT&T wanted to own Cingular out right, so they bought all of Bell South, that allowed them to actually change Cingulars' name. But do to restrictions they couldnt use AT&T Wireless so they had to make it At&t Mobility. Notice i didnt capitalize the t&t in At&t that is to differ the mobile from the land line.
