Nokia patent app reveals dreams of pressure-sensitive multitouch interface {Engadget}

Oct 24th 2009 11:30PM I think it is awesome that a multi-touch capacitive screen would get pressure sensitivity. It also shows that Nokia will probably make more touch screen phones.

Windows 7 breaks Amazon UK pre-order volume record, ousts Harry Potter {Engadget}

Oct 21st 2009 11:22PM Let's go Ballmer Snape.

Ballmer Ballmer Ballmer.

Steve Jobs says iPod touch didn't get a camera because "it's a great game machine" {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2009 11:11PM Gaming.....right....."We don't need to add new stuff" because its such a good gaming platform right?

That would be amazing logic if it was PRIMARILY A GAMING PLATFORM!!!!!!

Seriously, just when I thought an iPod touch for college was just around the corner to record my lectures, a camera for random times I would ever need it and an FM radio for when I don't have one, they put it all in the nano?

GG for everyone who thought Apple had a brain for what the market wanted....including me.

Nokia's 32GB Alvin RM-559 hits FCC, Simon 561 and Theodore 563 nowhere to be found {Engadget}

Aug 31st 2009 9:57PM So far, I found that it does have quadband GSM, WCDMA 900,1900,2100(hint at either ATT or unlocked offering in the US?) and has bluetooth and WiFi....i have also not seen any indication on whether it is a resistive or capacitive touch screen. Overall still pretty awesome.

It is amazing what you can find out by looking through the FCC files.

Plucky little iPhone 3GS confounds expectations, tops Japanese sales for July {Engadget}

Aug 17th 2009 8:43PM Hmm..."The iPhone that everybody was waiting for".....what does that say about the older versions? That they were they got too old and wrinkly for the japanese? Maybe too slow compared to the streamlined high speed standard that the japanese enjoy everyday on just about everything?

Then fine! Be that way number one and number 9th cellphone in july.

Microfluidic chip does 1,000 parallel chemical reactions, looks glorious {Engadget}

Aug 6th 2009 8:53PM Looks like an awesome thing to use in experimental reactions.

However.....I think you need to specify which California State University. Let me help you out there: It was CSU LA. It isn't very obvious since UCLA has lots of joint programs and just stating that it was a CSU doesn't give it justice.

Nokia throws "Xseries" into the ring, too? {Engadget}

Jul 20th 2009 2:32AM Now, I am confused.......Didn't IBM/Lenovo have the X series?

Switched On: Dark side of the Zune {Engadget}

Jun 5th 2009 6:15PM So....the Zune HD is to Ipod Touch as a prism is to Pink Floyd?

That's about all I can figure out in this article.

Rumors of Sony Ericsson split heat up again {Engadget}

Mar 18th 2009 11:20PM If you tilt your head to the left side a bit, you can see that the logo is broken in a way that looks like a messed up Pacman is about to eat the Sony part of the logo first.

And in regard to the "their phones last 6 months if your lucky" comment, I have a W810 and it has lasted a full 2 years already. I don't know what you are doing to the phone, but there must be something wrong with how you are using it. Or maybe you must have got one of those "slider phones" that look decent but cannot hold up to your multiple "opps" scenarios.

Kensington SlimBlade Trackball hands-on {Engadget}

Feb 23rd 2009 2:13PM So I am guessing that the comparison shots with the wired mouse, a trackball mouse and a wireless one is a showing of the evolution of the mouse.

The obvious next evolutionary phase after that would be a wireless trackball mouse.
