May 2nd 2009 11:38PM I agree about texting and voice not being flawless, it's happened more than once where when I try and make a call, I get a pre-recorded message saying that all the circuits are busy, sort of like after an earthquake, etc when everyone is using the phone and it's quite difficult to get a call to go through, except that there hadn't been an earthquake.
And texting does at times take quite awhile for the recipient and myself to receive, especially when sending or receiving from TMobile, anyone else having the same problem?

Hot Seat: Gay Marriage {Politics Daily}
Nov 12th 2008 2:57AM I voted no on prop 8, but actually regret doing so. Marriage is a sacred religious thing defined in the Bible, if no on prop 8 supporters are against religions, (which they have proved to be since they protested in front of churches) then why do they want to be married?
As far as the protesting, we know you're here, we know you're queer, and we're used to it. No we're not trying to kick you out of the state or make you live in a certain area. The only thing protesting is doing for them is proving that they love to whine, and can't accept the fact that the majority won. I voted for McCain, but he lost, you don't see me complaining or protesting. Also, by stopping traffic, i'm sure that people like myself are not very happy about that as well, and throwing bottles at a car passing by doesn't help either, whether that person is against you or not.
Instead of protesting, No On Prop 8 supporters should be working on a new way to get what they want. I've talked to a numerous amount of people in one of my classes and they all, like myself, do not hate gay people, we want you all to be happy and be together. We all had gay friends or even family who we want to see happy, but without discarding all our beliefs. The only problem is that by calling your cause marriage, you're basically telling us that our religion, our faith, our beliefs are all one big lie. It'd be like your partner was in reality just using you instead of being with you for whatever reason. They've all agreed that if your cuase was called something else, they would have voted no on 8.
Many people who have changed their lives have turned to religion. By calling your cause a marriage, you've ruined their newly found beliefs and hopes that they have worked so hard to make their lives better.
As far as discrimination, we are not discriminating, just defending our religious and lifes beliefs. There is no seperate store you must only buy at. There are no seperate restrooms you must use. By calling it discrimination, you're basically spitting in Rosa Parks face. She fought to end REAL discrimination, something we will probably never know, thanks to her courage.
I can guarantee you, if instead of protesting, No on 8 supporters would find a new word for their cause instead of marriage, almost everyone would vote to support you guys.
I guarantee it.
