Nokia asks own blog readers what their favorite part of the X6 is, gets funny answer {Engadget}
Dec 1st 2009 9:20PM @Endadget DefPoet doesn't mention where he/she lives, though mentions it is cold in Finland. Where I live, I darn sure wear gloves when it is +15° F, and it is a pain to have to take them off to even answer my iPhone. The screen on my resistive HTC Pure is easily as responsive as my iPhone's, BTW.

Navigon announces nav app for Android, Google threat looms {Engadget}
Nov 26th 2009 12:30PM Google Nav isn't free. It's $200 for the device, and ~$80/mo for 2 years. For well under $200 I can get a GPS with voice guidance, BT, etc, that doesn't cost $ every month, and has maps even if I am out of cell coverage.

Nov 26th 2009 9:29AM OMG, Joe Camel, how are you doing. Heard you were layed off. Didn't you do a short gig as a moose for LL Bean? Guess you had to go off shore for work. That's a shame man. Take care.

Gigaware dongle brings HD Radio to iPod touch and iPhone for $80 {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 9th 2009 10:35PM OK, cool, but where do the headphones go? Reason for the question is the similar, though not HD, Griffin product, http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/navigate. The headphones plug into the controller, and NO, you cannot plug in the Apple headphone/mic set and answer the phone. Something about the dock connector not handling audio in. If These let you plug the headphones...AND MIC...into the normal iPhone jack and answer the phone, with the expected, mute the radio and ring in my ears feature, they have a customer. If not, i.e, using them makes me drag out the iPhone to answer a call that I probably wouldn't hear cuz I have the radio going in my ear, then I'll just keep using the FM radio with BT thingy I have, and wait for Apple to provide the 'hey, there's an FM radio already in the thing' software upgrade.
