Palm Pixi one step closer to free, now $25 on Amazon {Engadget}

Nov 18th 2009 3:59PM Unless you use more than 450 minutes calling landlines during the day, there's no reason to get Simply Everything.

Everything Data 450 is only $69.99, and it includes everything SEP does except for unlimited minutes. But it does include Any Mobile, Anytime (unlimited calls to mobile phones on any carrier any time).

Sprint prepping update for Hero, still 1.5-based {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 15th 2009 8:15PM Sprint NEVER releases ANY information about upcoming updates. This really pisses me off. I've gone through 3 WiMo phones and now have a Pre, and they've never said jack ****. But for the almighty Hero they are giving WEEKS of advance notice as well as details about the update itself?? My blood is boiling!!

T-Mobile to myFaves: 'Good day, sir; I said good day' {Engadget}

Nov 9th 2009 10:05PM There's no reason to be paying more than $79.99 for a single line. It all comes down to how many minutes you want.

500: $59.99
1000: $69.99
Unlimited: $79.99

Those all include text and data.

I believe there is a $35 charge for current customers to move to Even More plans, but that would pay for itself in two months.

Palm Pre price keeps sinking on Bell, down to $100 {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 8th 2009 10:42AM You price any phone at $0 and I'm sure you'll move hundreds.

Nov 8th 2009 10:34AM If you are going to compare prices than at least compare them properly.

You can get the Pre for $80 IF you are a new customers and IF you purchase from the right reseller.

The Pre is $250 out-of-pocket from Sprint, $150 OOP at Best Buy, and $80 at WalMart/LetsTalk.

The Pixi is $200 OOP from Sprint, $100 (most likely) OOP at Best Buy, and who the hell knows how much at WalMart/LetsTalk.

Nov 8th 2009 10:30AM Here in America we have what you would call "complete idiots." The average person could not tell you how much they're spending over the next 2 years. Even something simple like $100/month for two years, they would not know how to do that math /even with a calculator/.

I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. I fear for my country :(

Nov 8th 2009 10:23AM So the iPhone must have been a huge failure considering they dropped the price by $200 less than three months after release.
