Nov 20th 2009 7:40AM Id rather be patient and wait 45 seconds to boot and have a full blown OS. Seriously.. is that really a reason why somebody should get this thing? The BOOT time??

NPD: Wii reclaims lead in US sales, but console gaming market shrinks by a fifth {Engadget}

Nov 13th 2009 1:13PM As someone who has all 3 (win7 PC, zune hd, xbox 360) i use the xbox for some casual gaming, a netflix portal, zune 1080p streaming (in preview) and as my wmc extender as my pc has the cable hooked up and i record all my tv on it and watch the live tv through the xbox. I have the zune hd dock too, but that fits into the puzzle more as a way to bring HD content outside the living room. I used to complain about the xbox HD size but since it can access my pc moviess and music library at all times, its not a big a deal anymore.

Xbox LIVE gets 1080p Zune Video store, Twitter, Facebook and more on November 17th (video) {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 7:02PM Ive been using it since the first preview batch and id have to say the 1080p streaming is really awesome. It compliments netflix very well since 9/10 of those movies are crap and the ones on the preview are big name movies. It costs around $6 to 24 hour rent a movie in HD and $4 in SD. You have the option to purchase them but id rather buy them on my PC and access them over the network to the xbox.

I dont use last.fm at all, facebook is fun to use but more of a gimmick, and i dont tweet so.. the 1080p is the meat of this upgrade.

Windows Mobile 7 'Maldives' test program reportedly on track for Q1 2010 release to OEMs {Engadget}

Nov 11th 2009 7:42AM Even if it is, i doubt it will even work on today's handsets (except the HD2) Anything with a 7200/7600/7500 series processor i would say will not work at all with it.

Windows Mobile 7 'Maldives' test program reportedly on track for Q1 2010 release to OEMs {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 10:10PM @mike
Because mike.. when you have vertical services to offer with the OS, such as zune integration, exchange, etc. and its what people want, then hardware manufacturers will pay the $15 per handset license for WM7. The linux crowd still hasnt figured out that because their OS is free doesnt mean people will want it.
