Griffin iTrip now features iPhone OS 3.0 integration {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 23rd 2009 12:15PM Wow. That's quite the deal on such a robust transmitter. RDS? That's something you don't see on all of them.
I wonder how the RF performance is on it? Being able to charge the device with a standard micro USB port is a huge plus.
I wish I had an iPhone (wait, no I don't - that means I'd have to use AT&T which is < Sprint). I'll just stick with my iPod Touch and HTC WiFi sharing. ;)
Apple, Palm hear privately from USB-IF on iTunes spat, involvement unlikely (update: the Forum's not pleased) {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 23rd 2009 12:09PM I meant "allowing Palm to sync with iTunes."
Epic fail.

Sep 23rd 2009 12:08PM Tony: How would you like it if someone developed a piece of hardware, and hijacked your software - which you put a lot of research and development (R&D) capital and resources into, for its interface, without your explicit permission?
Unfortunately for Palm, I think that it is very clear that Apple is right to authoritatively block Palm from having their devices sync with iTunes. Palm has paid nothing into the development of iTunes, nor have they requested permission from Apple to use their software. At this point, if I were Apple I wouldn't even CONSIDER allowing Apple to sync with iTunes, even if they offered "one million dollars".
***Raises finger to mouth...
I wish I could side with Palm on this, but I just can't. It wouldn't be ethical, knowing their past behavior about this issue.
Motorola Endeavor HX1 on sale in Sprint stores for $129.99 {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 23rd 2009 11:50AM I bought this device yesterday, and I love it.
It replaced my Motorola H15. My H15 is now a "Playstation 3" headset. I love that headset, as well.
Two things, however... I miss the charging dock though, that I have for the H15. Putting the headset "in-ear" also takes some getting used to. Headset activation - I miss the flip of the H15. The side switch is going to take some getting used to as well. Do you just leave yours on all the time? The switch, I mean...
All in all, however - GREAT headset. It is quite a bit bigger than the H15, but not too big. The voice prompts within the headset are very welcomed.

Sep 22nd 2009 11:43AM I will be purchasing this unit, and deprecating my (well loved) H15 to the PS3.
I LOVE THE H15. This headset, however, is icing on the MotoPure cake.

iPhone 3.0 to have copy and paste, Pre-like features -- but no background apps {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 17th 2009 10:06AM What's the big deal about Copy/Paste? I've used PDAs and Pocket PC phones since about the dawn of time, and I think I've used copy/paste maybe five times in total.
I think there are important things to quarrel over verses whether or not a handset has Copy/Paste support. (Hmmm... Stereo Bluetooth in a multimedia phone rings a bell...)
That said -- mine supports it. I use a Sprint Touch PRO.

Feb 19th 2009 5:02PM How many Sprint handsets DON'T feature Phone-As-Modem?
Really, now...

They should maybe... pick a place that is ABOVE sea level to live?
