May 28th 2009 8:48AM Blackberries don't have true IMAP IDLE - the blackberry server does and then relays the emails. IMAP sync on BBs is also atrocious.
The comment is not quite true, however, Chatter Email offered IMAP IDLE on PalmOS devices for years and Profimail has it for Symbian. Whether either or both works with Gmail I'm not sure.

Apr 15th 2009 4:10PM I tried the Belkin version of these up to 200 Mbps powerline adapters. I got 15-18 Mbps in a small house will all copper wiring.

Apr 1st 2009 2:35PM How dumb can Hulu be? They have people going for their content WITH commercials. It's like trying to keep your ad revenue DOWN. Clearly they have plans for a set-top box and want sucker consumers to rent that for a monthly fee and STILL watch the commercials.

WM5 and WM6 are pathetic. I went from a Treo 650 to an 8525 and it takes two hands and four times the strokes to enter a calendar item. No one-handed operation even for email or SMS. Sadly, Garnet is, IMHO, WAY ahead of WM6 for phones or PIMs. I already have a laptop and need a one-handed device for airports and the like. The only reason I still have the 8525 is that it's UMTS and works in Japan. A UMTS 750p would get me in a heartbeat.
