HTC says Touch Pro2 will be "broadly available," North America included {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 22nd 2009 3:46PM Except for the fact that it's running the same old bland WM OS... HTC makes great hardware but unfortunately it keeps getting hampered by a junk OS that just never seems to get any better. I'm sure this thing will run WM 6.5 (another temporary patch to calm the masses) but I think the 7.0 ground up rewrite WM OS is what will truly make a difference on great hardware such as this.

Apr 7th 2008 6:08PM @packetsniffer, yes you can do online ESN swaps now with Sprint proving you're on the Ensemble billing system otherwise you can do an online ESN swap through e-chat but I highly recommend calling rather than using e-chat.

Apr 7th 2008 12:36PM Sprint's CS is actually improving quite a bit. The reps are being held accountable for 1st time call resolution now so your experience will most likely start to improve more and more over the next 12 months until Sprint finally gets it to where it needs to be. I've actually noticed a considerable improvement the past couple times I've had to call lately for ESN swaps and such. I have the Touch as well on SERO and I'm quite happy. Welcome to the dark side!

Sprint Unlimited Access Pack is $119.99 a month for unlimited everything {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 6th 2008 4:39PM Sprint is actually selling a better deal under the Boost Mobile brand, it's called Boost Unlimited and only available in certain markets as well. You'll all like this, they're offering unlimited voice, texts, pics & web for between $45-65/mo depending on where you live. Go to boostmobile.com and click on the boost unlimited link and use zip 89101 to see that rates I'm talking about. The downside is that it's only regional and you have to pay $.15/min to roam outside your "home" area.
Now how can Sprint offer this as a pre-paid deal under Boost but sell almost the same thing as the Unlimited Access Pack for double the price and the Sprint branded product is supposed to be a deal???? Nationwide roaming isn't worth $50 extra cost IMO just that's just me. I'll stick with my SERO plan because for $119.00/mo I think I'll pass. Give me this deal for under $60/mo and I might actually think about it.
