I pay 34.99 for unlim data which *includes tethering* my n95, includes unlim texting and mms, and all that mobile to mobile stuff. I got onto that plan when they were still deciding what to do with PDAs.
My plan is sort of special in that sense, but for 30.00 a month, what are you getting that you wouldn't get with a regular 19.99 unlim mediaNet plan
I guess an iPhone, and if it works for you then okay, but I'd demand tethering or at least including substantial texts.

Jun 9th 2008 8:47PM People are just voicing their disappointment in a product that has dominated the headlines and stolen publicity from many other exciting events and products.
iPhones and the discussion of them has clogged blogs, lowered expectations of what people want out of mobile devices, and dumbed the "smartphone" down so much that numerous "early adopters" of smartphone technologies are just sick of hearing about a "revolutionary" device that is only revolutionary in that it has gained the attention of so many novices that it's really impossible to have any intelligent conversation about where mobile phone technology is really headed and what we should expect from carriers, producers and engineers.
If you can't take the criticisms coming from those who have been watching mobile phone progress since years before the iPhone hit the scene, then start your own blog where you can have watered down conversation about the iPhone.

Jun 9th 2008 8:18PM JoikuSpot... yes. I'd actually like to get one of the new iPhones since I'm already on ATT and pay an arm and a leg for unlimited data and tethering, and just be able to switch out the sim card.
I don't see why they wouldn't allow that.
