Google adds free turn-by-turn navigation, car dock UI to Android 2.0 (video) {Engadget}

Oct 28th 2009 5:33PM To all you people who think Google wants to shut down the iPhone and all become Android users; nonsense! Google is about search and ads. Everything...EVERYTHING they do is to get people to respond to ads. Search hits are key too. Google knows how many people use the iPhone and search Google via mobile Safari; they want that to continue.

HTC's G2 "Sapphire 2.0" caught slumming in the wilds {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 21st 2009 10:46AM I gave up my iPhone for the G1 and have not looked back. It's awesome and the Google integration is stunningly good. No more NuevaSync/third-party apps to get it all to work...no more clunky MobileMe either!

Google's Rich Miner to deliver keynote at Sprint's mobile developer's conference {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 9th 2008 4:58PM I'm very hopeful that Android comes to Sprint. I'm about to dump my iPhone and come back to their network--I've always preferred CDMA phones, and a "G1"-like device for CDMA is only a matter of time.

More Treo Pro details emerge {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 16th 2008 10:08PM If it were CDMA, I might give it a second look. I like the design, for the most part--I do prefer the grippy back though.
