I think the Samsung Moment that is still running a bone stock Android 1.5 can provide a good counter argument for this theory. That is, unless they are working on bringing TouchWiz or something else nutty to the Moment with the next major update.

Oct 7th 2009 4:57PM Yeah, I kinda wish they would have just left the number row off and kept it standard qwerty with numbers as a shift key option like almost every other phone on the planet. Ah well, it still seems great. I'll just have to try it out in the store before buying one.
