BBC asks: What happened to Second Life? {Joystiq}
Nov 23rd 2009 10:57AM Facebook isn't as fun to grief on. And it doesn't let you create anything you can imagine. I honestly felt Second Life was closer to Little Big Planet than PS Home.

Nov 17th 2009 2:43PM "Unfortunately, some of the very basic functions you'd come to expect from Facebook apps, such as writing your own status updates, aren't there yet."
Erm... Couldn't you just go to Facebook on the browser? I really don't see a need to clutter up the UI unnecessarily.
Laptop reliability survey: ASUS and Toshiba win, HP fails {Engadget}
Nov 17th 2009 2:11PM Regardless of who is worst... those are pretty high failure rates all around!

Nov 12th 2009 8:03PM "Ok, now its just sad.
Funcom your done just shut down servers and save the energy."
What a retarded statement. That's like saying if you aren't a billionaire you should just kill yourself. There's plenty of room for the little guys, and AoC is a really really good MMO.
Demon's Souls director talks difficulty, sequel possibility {Joystiq}
Nov 9th 2009 6:04PM Exactly. It's really not that hard. It's challenging, yes. But there are plenty of other games that really hurt to die in. Diablo 2 for example, punishes you more for dying. Some games take away your XP. Trails HD is way more difficult. I could go on...
What I mean by "challenging" is that it's not that difficult if you play smart. If you run into masses of mobs just wildly swinging your sword, you are an idiot and will die.

Nov 9th 2009 5:53PM I don't get it. Are you saying you want an HD version of Chains of Olympus?
Torchlight to explore retail shelves in January {Joystiq}
Nov 5th 2009 10:55PM I guess that sorta makes sense. I just prefer to avoid the term "American" all together.
I've never heard anyone call a New Zealander an Australian though. But they are Australaisians.

Nov 5th 2009 9:12PM Incidentaly, I also correct people when someone says "American" if they are excluding Canada, Mexico, South America, etc. ;)

Nov 5th 2009 8:57PM No, I remember when everything became IBM-clones. But all computers were still PC's whether a Radio Shack 1000, C64, IBM-clone, or Apple 2e.
David, you are awesome.
