HTC Hero, Samsung Moment now $100 on Sprint courtesy of Best Buy

Leaning back and forth between the $100 HTC Eris on Verizon and the $179 HTC Hero on Sprint? Well, your decision just got a bit more difficult, as Best Buy has now kicked off a new holiday promotion that'll net you a chin-less Sprint Hero for the same hundred bucks as Verizon's Eris. If you prefer, you can also now snag a Samsung Moment for the same price, but each will of course have to be paired with a new two-year activation, and you'll have to take the plunge before the end of December -- although there's at least a decent chance there will be another discount / price drop by the time this one ends.

i don't mean to sound like a troll calling "first" but damn it all if i didn't call a price drop to compete with the eris like 2 weeks ago on here

The $99 is only for new lines. Upgrades are still $179.99. Just an FYI.

The Moment is listed on Amazon for $79, but no Hero. Strange, it would probably sell quite well at the price if Amazon carried it too.

Yes, at Best Buy, you have 30 days price match. You can go to customer service to do the price match.

i bought the Hero recently for 180. can i bring my receipt back to BB and get $80? my sister did it when they issued the $50 coupon for the hero a couple weeks ago.

Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee says "Yes"....

...assuming you properly qualify for said discounted price (i.e.: New Customer vs Established Upgraded Customer, within 30 days/45days for Reward Zone Program Members, etc).
