HTC's HD2 continues to impress, reveals multi-touch web browsing
We've seen plenty about HTC's hot HD2, gone hands-on and sized it up next to everyone's most/least favorite smartphone, but there's one thing we haven't seen yet: multi-touch in IE. The video embedded below from Techblog.gr is in a language you may not quite understand, but certainly everyone can grok the snappy UI performance and the pinch zooming demonstrated at the 2:20 mark. It does look a wee bit unresponsive at this point, but HTC still has time to make things perfect before releasing it here -- though to be honest we'd rather just have it now.

Hail! Behold the market competition N900 vs HD2... Finally we are seeing quality devices worth every penny spent during Q4 of this year.

Yesterday I have been to a "Nokia Academy" hullaballoo and I have been told directly by nokia's reps that the N900 will not be a telephone and will lack the functions typical of a smartphone , such as mms or voice dialing or tethering or stuff like that, and that Nokia is committed to keep the N97 as their flagship smartphone with a constant flow of updates, upgrades and even free of charge hardware repairs, like they are doing now by substituting the N97's camera lens cover and tweaking the GPS transmitter.
That's the reason of the 3 new ROMs in 3 months and the dozens of OTA updates, and the new fabled 2.0 ROM due in a few days.
The N900 will be an internet tablet with 3,5 G for browsing and basic telephony service.
That's why I have preordered the HD2 that will be delivered to my eagerly waiting pockets in 9 days (hopefully).

Please can you tell me from there have you pre-ordered, many sites deliver it after Nov.11th

Yes, "Klingtech.dk", or try their shop page: "tele-online.dk".
I also bought my Hero and (one year ago) the touchHD there and they have always been quite accurate with release and delivery dates.

Do they have a site in English? Anyways, have contacted their support for some help.
Thanks! Cheers!

There's multi-touch on the Zune HD which uses a form of IE. I swear when Microsoft turns that thing into a phone it's gonna be hot.

why does he do the same things (for example: browsing photos), again and again ??

....my guess is to show the 3D fluidity (which according to me looks more eye candy the the iPhone) and plus the speed at which it reacts to the flicking and turning.

I think it's because he was showing it to different people. It seems like it was an event of some sorts. In the end he said "there's virtually no lag at all".
