I'm currently with 3, and while I only get a fast data connection if I'm in a capital city, when out of 3's coverage it falls back on Telstra's network for calls and texts (and data, but I would have to pay roaming charges for that). The other networks have great plans to make up for their lackluster coverage, which is in 90% of cases, below acceptable.
