I know that mail for exchange is built in to the messaging app in the new e75, but it does not appear to be built in to the messaging app for the 5800. anyone else have the same problem or know if there is a fix?

DJS nokia user

Comments on Nokia Messaging graduates to S60 5th Edition

No its not more ironic than using IE to download Firefox.

Shilpi

Comments on Nokia Messaging graduates to S60 5th Edition

Tried both the beta, and this 'graduated' version and it's rubbish. I have my own domain and as a result, needed Nokia's assistance with the initial set up. I received better support for this "unsupported" application than I ever have for supposedly supported applications. It has worked incredibly well since I started using it, nearly 6 months ago. If people are on a windows exchange server, then just use the downloadable exchange app (which also works very well with my Nokia E71 at least). But if you don't have that luxury, this is an excellent option.

Robin

Comments on Nokia Messaging graduates to S60 5th Edition

I gave this a try during the beta and it was OK - certainly a little bit nicer than the standard email handling program (what's *that* one called? Nokia's naming leaves something to be desired)...

... BUT, the vague threats that they will start charging for this as a service really turned me off. Seriously, charging for me to get to my email?

Harry
