Actually, Neonode would have just needed to sign some license agreements with established manufacturers. If it had released a phone it would have had to spend a lot of money trying to market it due to being a no-name. But if it had been able to intrigue Nokia or Samsung or LG to the point where one of them was interested in licensing, that could have really helped out Neonode.
Oh, well. There are other touch technologies out there.
