We're hearing that the MediaFLO-packing, TouchWiz-having, HSDPA-sporting
Samsung Eternity is now available for order by AT&T stores, and when this happens, phones are typically available for purchase at the counter within a few days. It'll be an interesting alternative to the
Vu -- and for AT&T customers looking longingly toward the
Behold, this might just be the ticket to staying put.

so does this thing have a 3 or 5 mpx camera? I've heard conflicting reports on that. They should know this sort of thing since according to this report they are taking orders.
DREWSKY56 @ Nov 10th 2008 3:30PM
I would like to know if the camera is 5MP or 3MP? Phonearena says maybe 5MP, but
cellphonesignal.com says 3MP and they say they have leaked manual pics. I hope 5MP.
Who Knows @ Nov 10th 2008 3:33PM
It's 3mp.
FKL @ Nov 10th 2008 3:54PM
The confusion comes from the fact that there were some pre-production testers floating around that carried 5mp cameras. It's 3mp on the final product though.

how the hell can Tmobile Behold got 5mp while we got 3mp?? argh!!!!! ok, over the camera, now can some1 tell me if it comes with FLASH and AUTOFOCUS?????? if not, screw it, will Tmobile Behold work with ATT 3g??
Ryan C @ Nov 10th 2008 4:42PM
It won't work.
Wait. Because it could be 5mp after all.
Matt @ Nov 10th 2008 7:14PM
It will work except for the 3G. You'll only get EDGE.
Ashton @ Nov 10th 2008 5:37PM
AT&T stores in my region do not take orders for anything except accessories. I would like to know who says that orders can be taken... this is generally not true and will confuse customers.
rlamontjr @ Nov 10th 2008 6:46PM
i know what you mean, i just left the att store and they acted clueless about the existence of the phone
mike @ Nov 11th 2008 9:17AM
Stores can place exception orders for everything but in general initial shipments are pushed to stores. If you have alot of people waiting for a specific phones, you can place an exception order to cover for unusual demand.

AT&T please come to Vermont ASAP. I want a phone that does more than make calls, and that isn't a blackberry. thank you.
