Minutes expire really fast, one day per dollar. So you spend five dollars, if you don't use the minutes they expire after five days, and so on. That's ridiculous. I wish there was a provider that charges credit cards based on minutes actually used. Personally I much rather pay a high per minute fee than get screwed prepaying for minutes which then expire.
This would be great for back-up phones (or you know, that phone you give to your mom for emergencies, which she never uses).
