T-Mobile announces Motorola ROKR E8
As expected, T-Mobile has taken the wraps off its very own version of Motorola's ROKR E8, a glossy black candybar offering a 2 megapixel camera, 2GB of internal storage (plus a microSD slot that'll swallow up to 8GB more), stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and that so-called "morphing" keypad that selectively renders keys invisible depending on the mode you're using. It's missing 3G, but that's one feature T-Mobile customers are all too well acquainted to missing out on -- and considering that the just-announced flagship ZN5 doesn't even do any WCDMA, it shouldn't come as any surprise. Subscribers and would-be subscribers will be able to nab the E8 come July 7 for $199.99 on contract.

$199.99 for this?? Are you kidding me?? The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic offers the same features for much, much lower!
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having this phone, but at that price, I might as well get an iPhone. I wonder who will actually get this...

Same thing with the RAZR2. GREAT phone in my opinion but definitely not worth the price...

As a current t-mo emp....... I predict epic fail based on the price point alone. same price as the razr2........which hasnt sold worth a crap since launch even though the price has dropped a whole 50 bucks......still more expensive than the curve, shadow, dash, both 8100 and 8120 and the nokia 5310...... who ever is setting prices at work needs a head examination!

Same here! I sell for T-Mobile as well and can honestly say I haven't sold 1 RAZR2 since its release... I simply cannot recommend someone buy that phone for $249.99 when there are other phones like you listed for the same price that are much better.
