Too bad TomTom's mapping data source for the US market -Teleatlas - spews green and yellow, fuzzy, warm chunks - all over the place.
GO 910 owner here. I write from experience. There's one more dangerous bit they're not telling you - the cost of the mapping updates. TomTom just changed their policy a few weeks ago - their updates for the NA maps? $100. Quarterly updates. You do the math.
I looked at one of their new units on 6/8 in a store, using version 7.05 maps. I have version 7.10 maps. Both show dozens of errors in the Portland OR area, often showing thru roads that were removed more than 5 years ago. My maps? Less than 4 months old, had to upgrade for a fee, they're still not right. Sigh.
