Then better start booking a flight to the continental USA this July 11th and snatch your 3G iPhone there, because this time you can't buy it online and activate it via iTunes (you'll have to buy it in-store and activate it in-store). I only know one P'Rican gal with a 1st-gen iPhone (she bought it while doing internship at Seattle, I think, lucky her).

What's up with Apple, even Dominican Republic is getting it.
In Perto Rico we've had 3G with ATT for quite a long time and it covers all the iland.
