Truth be told, we aren't exactly inclined to believe this here article is entirely accurate, but nevertheless,
Modern Ghana is reporting that a resident was recently killed by an exploding cellphone. Notably, this unfortunate accident wasn't due to a
faulty battery, or at least that hasn't been blamed just yet. Rather, the young man simply answered his ringing mobile while it was still plugged into the wall, and seconds later, electricity flowed into the cellphone unrestricted and threw the man back. Reportedly, he was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital, and we're sincerely hoping that investigators get to the root cause of all this if indeed the tale is true.

There is a little insulation missing from the phone end of the charging cord...seems weird that it would only melt from one end, let alone that and.
Seems like the details are a little confused, or the story is false.
My money is on a problem w/ the outlet, not the device that was plugged in.

hadn't been he had a bluetooth connected, he could have just answered d phone from the headset and if the phone explodes, may be he would have still be alive now! OR may be his destiny is just set for that date. Pretty sad that he bought a gadget that will take away his life? bizarre.
one more reason bluetooth devices are useful.
