A phone with a gigantic battery, retro styling or not, would be a welcome addition to all the major carriers (I would think). There are always a few people like my dad who think any handset that folds, slides, or flips and weighs less than 8 oz is flimsy and three days of standby -- what the hell good is that? Casio's G'zOne does the rugged thing well but the battery performance is pretty standard. The iDen/Nextel marketing leads me to believe that Motorola "gets" this demographic but all they do is make phones look tough (i560); doesn't mean they are.
