The ENV button, pulls up a shortcut menu, with 10 options ( VCast Videos, VCast Music, TextMessage, Video Message, Picture Message, wireless sync, email, IM, Pacman, and Tetris. You have the options to 'reassign' the shortcuts, however, you can only 'rearrange' them but cannot truly reassign the shortcuts. If so I would put up my calendar, my pictures, my videos, etc. But I can't so that button is useless to me.

its pretty much the same phone as the silver, but i like the enV hotkey better than the email button. i wouldn't say the finish is "girly," in direct light, it has a brushed aluminum quality, but in certain low light scenarios, it may be mistaken for an off-pink. the color doesn't bother me personally because i'm a baltimore orioles fan and its a good way to show some team spirit :)

now that the phone is in stores, you can get it free online (pending that you're eligible for a $100 "New Every Two" upgrade) which is nice, but frustrating because i dropped the 49.99 for mine :/ the in-store price remains $149.99

i saw the samsung and thought it was SO cute! it seemed like a perfect phone for me, cuz i love to text. so i ordered it through the 611 verizon number, and got it for free because of the new every 2. i kinda bought it on a whim because i was so excited that it was free, and didnt really think it through.

after i bought it (silly me) i looked up reviews and stuff and it turned out to not be as good as i thought. the dual hinge isnt very sturdy, and the keyboard is really small and confusing. the numbers face one way and the letters face a different way, which makes typing numbers in the horizontal screen really difficult. also, not all the applications run on the regular flip phone, and you have to open it horizontally to run them.

all my previous phones have been lgs, and my boyfriend had the enV when it first came out. i loved it, and as soon as i held the samsung and messed around with it, i knew i had made a mistake ordering it.

i returned the samsung and got the enV instead, and i would highly reccomend the enV! its a better all around phone. the users and reviews say so!
