Sprint's earnings call reveals Motorolas; Q included
We're sure Verizon's been having a blast with their American exclusivity on the Motorola Q, but the fun and games are about to come to an end -- and another domestic carrier's Windows Mobile-loving customers have cause to celebrate. COO Len Lauer spilled the beans during Sprint's earnings call Thursday, revealing that the company is planning to pick up the honorary RAZR of smartphones (the Q, that is) sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. Speaking of RAZRs, the Moto love continues with a SLVR and RAZR (the V3m, perhaps?) coming down the pike. Between this and the announcement that their Rev. A deployment is ahead of schedule, the good news nearly outweighs the bad stemming from the "earnings" part of the earnings call -- not surprisingly, some analysts are speculating that profits fell short due to Sprint's failure to offer a RAZR thus far.[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

well duh! with the exception of the fusic, samsung a900, and katana, sprint phones just aren't the most interesting. so that leaves three phones that the average fashion-concious person would consider. but the v3m with it's bigger customer base beats these phones hands down. sprint came to the party with too little and WAY too late. oh, and the rotten frosting on the moldy cake is that god-forsaken tech support 'bot that earned sprint the lowest customer service rating.
so, it appears, that the only reason sprint still exists is because of those sanyos everyone loves so much.

Today’s users are looking for mobility to give them the best combination of style, voice, messaging and entertainment and the Motorola Q delivers. The world’s thinnest QWERTY, the Motorola Q changes the playing field for mobile devices by delivering a superior uncompromising mobile experience in one amazing ultra-thin package.

i think i might sell my 700p to get it and the Q's extended battery so i can have push email

Blade you sound like a shill for motorola. "delivering a superior uncompromising mobile experience" Have you ever actually said that to someone?
The Q is a piece of crap.
brian, if you want push, go with the blackberry 8700. I was a long time treo fan, 600 to 700, but the 8700 totally decimates it. I also think it's easier to carry around than the treo too, no more attenae in the nuts (I usually carried the treo in the front pocket of my jeans).
The only thing I'm missing from the treo is KeyCaps.

If any blackberry would come to SprintNextel with the rollerball I would be in. Corporate email server kills this for me.
